This is our go to place for me and my friend to catch up and enjoy a nice cocktail & view. We really enjoyed the mimosa flights. That was a lot of fun. The service is amazing. The food is really good along with a very nice and relaxing atmosphere! The food is hit & miss - I’m picky... but still very nicely prepared, fresh & yummy and the presentation is a bonus. The brunch is awesome. One year we went for our anniversary on New Year’s Eve & had complimentary glasses of champagne.

This restaurant is in a unique location in Port Ludlow. If you are dining outside on the deck, you look out to the marina and boats and Olympic mountains in the background. I’ve eaten there twice now, the food quality has been very good and the service exceptional. I live in Poulsbo and the drive was only 30 minutes. The drive includes going over the Hood Canal bridge, offering beautiful views of the water and mountains. I check ahead to see if there will be any planned bridge closures.

The Turkish poached eggs were perfect... soft and runny on the inside with a spicy, yummy yogurt sauce. The only thing to improve? More bread to soak up the yum. Jonathan did a nice job with the friendly service.

This is one of my favorite places on the planet right now. It's a small restaurant in a beautiful Inn in a small village on the bay. I've eaten here several times now. By myself, with my partner, with multiple people. I often sit outside on the covered porch (with heaters for cool days). This is the perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing, slow meal. Few kids (which I prefer), an older age median (which I prefer), and incredibly beautiful views. The restaurant partners with local farms, wineries, breweries, ciders, creameries, bakeries, etc. to create colorful, delicious, and creative seasonal dishes. While service can be on the slower side compared to what people have come accustomed to, it's a pace that encourages us to slow down, be present, and use all of our senses to take in the whole experience. The staff is kind, courteous, and overall delightful. I do wish they had more vegetarian options. But they will accommodate requests. I can't say enough about this place. Photos are from different meals here.

Beautiful upscale restaurant in Port Ludlow with many locally sourced dishes. Overlooking the marina, the service was friendly and we all enjoyed our dinner entrees. The steak was seasoned well and the veggies were tasty. Would easily recommend as one of the best restaurants in the area. Citrus sorbet was smooth and refreshing. Plenty of parking and clean bathrooms.

This was my first time staying at the Port Ludlow resort and eating the Fireside restaurant. We had lunch dinner and breakfast there. Jonathan in particular was an absolutely amazing server. The food was fantastic the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was lovely. To top it off I was able to bring in my large dog onto the patio which was awesome. I will definitely look forward to coming back. Thanks again Jonathan and everyone.

Stayed a weekend at the inn. The food was the highlight of the trip. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated! They use mostly local ingredients yet prices are very reasonable. We can’t wait to return and see what’s on the menu next time!

If you're anywhere near the Olympic Peninsula, make it a point to stop at The Fireside—this place is a gem. The food is incredible, and the pulled pork sandwich in particular? Next-level. Smoky, tender, and full of flavor, the pulled pork was clearly slow-cooked to perfection. It came piled high on a fresh, lightly toasted bun, topped with a tangy slaw that added the perfect crunch and contrast. The house-made BBQ sauce had just the right amount of sweetness and heat—it didn't overpower the meat, it enhanced it. Every bite was balanced and satisfying. The setting doesn’t hurt either—cozy, relaxed vibes with stunning views of Ludlow Bay. Great service, great drinks, and a menu that really celebrates the local flavors of the region. Highly recommend stopping by—just make sure someone at your table gets the pulled pork sandwich. You won’t regret it.
